Lifestyle changes can go a long way in providing freedom from Acne. Although medications can provide temporary solution, it could crop up again.

  1. Dietary changes

A well balanced diet can provide glowing skin. One cannot stress enough on the fact that eating fresh vegetables and fruits can go a long way in maintaining healthy skin. Every meal should be well balanced. There should be adequate carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and minerals in your diet.

If you add more vegetables and fruits to your diet, there is a possibility that you will have glowing skin. Citrus based foods are also recommended which act as cleanser for skin.

Leading a stress free life is important. Exercise helps release all the toxins in the form of sweat. It releases happy hormones called endorphins which are a natural means to relieve stress.

A top reason for acne breakout is the excessive use of chemicals. Your facial skin is sensitive, use quality products available in the market. Also, avoid using excessive chemicals on the skin. An alternate is to use herbal products which are easier on your skin. On days that you can avoid make-up, it is best to let your skin breathe naturally.

Never sleep with chemicals / makeup on. Always scrub and cleanse your skin before your sleep. You can use a natural moisturiser such as aloe vera or cucumber juice which will help hydrate your facial skin.
